Global advisory project to research corporate approach to all building types and logistics activities for buildings of between 4000 and 50,000m².

The Brief:

CITRALOG contracted Savills, with an exclusive mandate, to support the company’s real estate needs, including sales, acquisition and leasing, in France and throughout Europe, for a period of three years.

The Client:

CITRALOG – CITRA Transport is a transport company and regional logistics service provider that employs 450 people and represents 250 transport organisations.

It uses 130,000 m² of warehouse space and enjoys the trust of major logistics users such as L'OREAL and HACHETTE and is also used as a local operator for delivery specialists such as TNT and DHL.

Our Solution:

Savills approach was to assign the management of CITRALOG's portfolio to a single point of contact at Savills. The account manager used local intermediaries, as well as accessing the extensive nature of Savills international network when working on pan-European projects.

How we added value:

The management of CITRALOG's real estate issues by one individual gave the client the advantage of having just one point of contact for all property requirements. A relationship of trust was created, as a result of extensive knowledge both parties had of each other, a relationship which also led to a more effective partnership.

Savills ability to access information and resources using internal and external intermediaries while making use of Savills international network, across 500 offices throughout the world, allowed CITRALOG to concentrate on its core role as a transport and logistics organisation.

Subsequently, Citra has chosen to completely outsource the property development component of its business activity.
