The valuation team prides itself on its ability to provide detailed reports on both single assets and portfolios of property, often within tight timescales. We use complex discounted cashflow techniques, together with traditional valuation methods.
The London based European Valuation Team acts as an originator and co-ordinator for pan-European valuation work across the Savills network.
The team provides loan security valuations for banks, accounts valuations for investment funds and valuations on behalf of corporate owner occupiers, covering both the commercial and residential sectors.
Leasehold enfranchisement & Landlord and Tenant
We work closely with experienced lawyers and, if need be, we can act as an Expert Witness in Leasehold Valuation Tribunals or Lands Tribunals, working with lawyers and legal teams. We are able to obtain up-to-date market evidence from our own estate agents and analysis from our Research Department. We also act for lessees and freeholders in the regions, supported by our extensive agency network.
Expert Witness and Litigation
Savills maintains a team of people who advise lawyers with regard to disputes, including matrimonial, professional negligence and party walls. Increasingly, disputes are settled by mediation with staff that are experienced in this process.
We can prepare a valuation report on commercial, residential and mixed-use properties for matrimonial and litigation purposes, and we can act as the main point of contact for portfolios, comprising both national and international properties.
